
Getting it up an all three was an effort. Brakes didn’t fit right, tires needing to be seated with tubes and wheels assembled. It was hours of grinding away at assembly, a swift change from the hours of grinding away at wiring and electronics.
It’s big. It’s very big and very cool.
It’s hard to tell from the picture, but is there clearance to put the tail section on in the garage or is that something you are saving for the hangar? She’s really coming together well!
There is not room to get the tail section out with or without the fiberglass tips. I have to check again, but I think the HS is about 2-4 inches too wide. (Maybe if I tilt it?)
Van’s has recommended I install the tail sections and get them set, then remove for the move. Reinstalling will take far less time, and performing the initial installation in the garage will be much more comfortable in the garage.
