Well, with some off-site-cross-country training under my belt, I’m hankering to get the plane ready for avionics. Not really knowing where I’m headed with the engine eliminates fuel systems and other components of the interior, so it’s not really out of order to hit this now…

Parts fitting was, as usual, quite quick. Before that, the bracket construction was a little more lengthy. Having the panel up was encouraging and exciting.

Match drilling is going to be a real treat. All this is pretty free to move around until the skin is added. Once it’s on, I lose all access to the inner structure for match drilling. I’ll have to hop in and go from underneath.
