The windshield on the plane has been perfunctorily cutout and set on the plane. The fit, overall, looks pretty good, with minimal areas of adjustment needed. However, if I’ve learned anything, it’s that these areas where you have to adjust for a perfect fit are deceptive, and likely you’ll spend roughly 143 weeks taking the part off, back to the bench for one small adjustment, and then back to the plane to find it still needs more adjustment.

After a few initial rounds of adjustment, I have it mostly where I want it on the roll bar. The gap needs a little work, as does the front. I’m getting the picture that the roll bar area is going to be a tough one to address and have the two halves of this thing meet up. There’s a non-uniform gap along this piece that I’ll have to noodle out.
