Added epoxy-flox mixture to tips. Further reinforced tips, which also allows the ability to sand back if needed a little bit.

Filler was allowed to cure and then I did some initial fairing on the pieces. Results, so far, are good. I think more flox would allow for better positioning of the mixture and easier sanding. Will see next time.

Feeling better about the tips. Should be able to have them primed and finished within a week.
