I received a quart of new primer to see how it looks. Still using the old hardener, as I have little concern that anything has gone wrong with that.

First parts out of the booth looked great–back to a little sheen, much easier to apply. You can achieve a high gloss finish with a slightly thicker coat, I believe, but with that comes more application difficulty, more weight, and more primer to interfere with the fit of the parts. I’m happy with where the current parts are at.

So with the parts properly dry, I installed the flap hardware to get a look at it. The interior is starting to look very mechanical. I like it so far.
