With a thicker mix of epoxy-flox, I went in and added more compound to the remaining areas of the tips. It’s messy, and again, I may regret this, but in the interested of getting this done I’m moving forward.

Next up will be sanding down as much of this as I can while keeping elements fair.

I did not add compound to the outermost portion of the tip, which was a mistake. This will need to be addressed next time I mix up some compound. 🙁
