Fuel Delivery

Continuing on the mission to close out the fuel lines in the cockpit, it was time to address fuel supply lines and that danged center cabin cover.

I’ve been jammed up on this because I didn’t know what engine I was going to run. Without knowing the engine, you don’t know the injection type. Not knowing the injection type means you don’t know the boost pump type. You also won’t know about return fuel or not. Without knowing that, you can’t add or delete the pump cover and you can’t decide on a selector switch.

What a clusterf*ck. But now I know.

I’ve gone ahead and purchased an Andair fuel value (non-duplex) and Airflow Performance boost pump and filter + cover kit.

This area is a LOT OF WORK.

Mounting the switch, running the tank-to-switch supply lines, modifying the center cabin cover, adding in the boost pump cover, bending the switch to filter, filter to pump, and pump to firewall lines.

This area is a LOT OF WORK.

ready for disassembly and priming
