I went with FlyLED lighting–The Works.
This system requires you build just about everything from scratch, which excited me. The soldering, the fabrication–still, somehow after two-plus years of building I still have appetite for more.

I will say, the entire process took longer than I would have thought. There was a lot to this kit, between the individual wingtip systems (boards that include components and lighting for taxi, flood, strobe, navigation, and landing) and the main control board. Then the actual mounting and wiring.
Plan on a long weekend to install, if not a week at least. Depending on your pace and time you are able to dedicate to the project.

The kit was an incredible value, and after testing proved to provide all the function I could possible want in a lighting kit. The flood light feature, I think, will be incredibly helpful when taxiing at night.
