The fuselage assembly began with a reassembly of all the parts–aft, mid, and forward fuselage.

It was a bear trying to get it back together, even with help. But we did get it back together, and then I began riveting areas that should be riveted. The assembly is a bit of a minefield. Certain areas can’t be riveted as there is somewhat of an order to this thing, but of course the instructions are no help.

It is incredibly exciting to see this come together. I’ll need quite a bit of help getting all the rivets hit, but a few volunteers lined up for this coming week. With luck and a lot of work, this thing will be upright in a few weeks tops.
