I did an initial trim of the skirt, cutting along the far line that I made (approximately 3/4″ outside of the “final” trim line). I like the proportions of this so much it may become the final trim line.

The low spot, created by the rear canopy lip, is visible when holding a ruler to the fairing.

I can thin out over the high spot over the canopy to reduce this, or fill in the low spot. I think a combination of both will be required.
Elsewhere, the fairing is, well, fair.

This will take finesse and fine tuning, which means a lot of sanding. But it is headed in the right direction.
