Nervous about doing something wrong, I’ve pulled the whole harness from the build table and, well, taped it up in the cockpit. Overall, I’m pretty happy with the fit. It relieved some of my concern about the length of wires, routing, etc.

It has, however, brought back the realization that this panel/subpanel will be very tight.
