First thing today was to finally decide on a location to put my wiring conduit. I kept reading blogs and posts but then stumbled upon this:
That took the guess work out of it, and I went with their recommendation. After punching holes in all the ribs…
All the hard work paid off today, just like I was hoping. After days (4) of deburring, straightening flanges, and fluting (the latter two not being that arduous of a task), I started to cleco together some pieces. And before I knew it, a wing!

And after another thirty minutes of clecos, there were two!

I did find one more rib that was formed incorrectly, or in this case, punched incorrectly. The rear spar attach holes aren’t spaced in a manner that lines up with the prepunched holes in the spar. Thinking I can just punch a new hole–we’re doing that elsewhere in the plane.
Next step is to start match drilling, something I think should only take a few hours, and then back to pieces it goes and into the primer booth.
