Very simple day today. The off-cut from the right counterweight was melted with other scrap into a mould that was routered into a 2 x 4 scrap. The resulting piece looks great, and even better, it appears to be the correct amount of weight to balance the elevator.

If you remember, this was needed because too much lead was cut from the counterbalance in the first place. This piece of lead will be bolted to the outboard left elevator rib.
