Addressing the tapered cooling fins requires a lot of math, a little bit of template making, and some help from Send Cut Send.

I’ve cut the old cylindrical lower baffles off, and begun test fitting various designs of conical baffles that should seal up around the tapered cooling fins.

After drawing them up on-screen, I’ve sent them to Send Cut Send where only a few days later I had some flat-cut pieces that I could bend into shape.

I was incredibly pleased with the fit of these, though that doesn’t mean there won’t be a V2.0. I need a little adjustment on just about every one of these in order to get the best fit possible.
